Online Classes Take Place
Tuesday, Sept 5th - Friday, April 26th

Thank you for your interest in our online electives for the 2023-2024 school year.

These courses are designed for middle school and high school students.

Tentative elective courses offered for the 2023-2024 school year are
World Language Lab and Java Programming.

Please note:  Classes are tentative - based on enrollment.

World Language Lab

Our World Language Lab offers a dedicated space for foreign language learning where students access online materials to learn their language of choice.  We utilize an online platform where students can select a foreign language for study.  Students can choose from Spanish, French, or Japanese. Students enrolled in the language lab will receive access to an account for assignments, quizzes, and tests.  Language platform topics include vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, culture, comprehension and retention.

Class takes place Friday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:00 a.m.

Classes begin Friday, September 8th

Java Programming

In the Java Programming course, students will learn introductory Java programming concepts.The Jave Programming course teaches introductory Java programming and classic computer science concepts.  To participate in this course, students do NOT need prior programming knowledge. 
Students merely need to possess typical computer usage skills.

This course covers fundamental programming topics and skills such as:

* Data Types and Variables
* Working with Strings
* Numbering Systems and Java Math
* Logic and Decision Making
* Debugging Concepts
* Algorithms, including Math and String
* Lists and Arrays


The Java Programming class takes place Friday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Classes begin Friday, September 8th


The cost for the online classes include an Admin/Registration Fee and monthly tuition payments.  The Admin Fee for all families is a one-time charge of $200.  
The monthly tuition for the online courses are $60 per month per class.  


High school students who complete these courses may receive high school credit.

New Generation Academy is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
