Coronavirus Response & Updates

Academic Plan for the 2024 - 2025 School Year

(updated April 6, 2024)

Attention All NGA Families:

We continue to regard the health and safety of our students, parents, and teachers to be one of our
top priorities.  We would like to emphasize
that we take the issue of safety in our classes very seriously.

As the situation with the coronavirus continues to evolve, we continue to monitor developments from
the CDC and
the Georgia Department of Public Health in the spread of the coronavirus with a focus on its
potential
impact on our school. We continue to prioritize the safety of our students, parents, and teachers
as we
do our part to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus in our state.

For the upcoming school year mask wearing is optional.  Though mask wearing is not required, families
are advised to take precautions if needed.  Teachers are advised to allow space between students.
As the school year progresses, COVID precautions may be implemented in order to reduce the
spread of the virus.  The Coronavirus Response will be updated as needed.

For the 2024-2025 school year, New Generation Academy will follow a hybrid model for class meeting days.
In the hybrid model NGA utilizes face to face meetings and virtual learning for our students.

In the hybrid model, we will continue to have classes twice per week: students will meet

face to face on campus on Tuesdays and meet virtually via Zoom on Thursdays. Utilizing video
conference options,
students will continue to learn in all classes. Parents and
students will receive login information for their online classes, where applicable
.

With this option, we remain dedicated to providing a solid educational experience to our

students, while maintaining our goal to develop a plan that is safe and reasonable for our families.

We remain committed to providing all students with an outstanding education at NGA.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work through these challenging times together.
We
look forward to a wonderfully blessed school year.
