Coronavirus Response & Updates

Academic Plan for the 2021 - 2022 School Year

(updated January 8, 2022)

Attention All NGA Families:

We continue to regard the health and safety of our students, parents, and teachers to be one of our
top priorities.  We would like to emphasize
that we take the issue of safety in our classes very seriously.

As the situation with the coronavirus has been rapidly evolving, we continue to monitor developments from
the CDC and
the Georgia Department of Public Health in the spread of the coronavirus with a focus on its
potential
impact on our school. We continue to prioritize the safety of our students, parents, and teachers
as we
do our part to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus in our state.

New Generation Academy had initially decided to follow a hybrid model for class meeting days.
However, d
ue to the ever-changing events that are taking place all over the world with the
increasing number of Covid-variant cases, especially in children, all NGA classes will continue to be
conducted online. The health and safety of our students, parents, and teachers is one of our top priorities.
Utilizing video conference options, we will continue to follow our current class schedule. Parents and students
will receive login information for their online classes, where applicable
.

We will continue to have live virtual classes twice per week: students will meet virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays
and Thursdays. Utilizing video conference options weekly,
students will continue to learn in all classes.

With this change, we remain dedicated to providing a solid educational experience to our

students, while maintaining our goal to develop a plan that is safe and reasonable for our families.

We remain committed to providing all students with an outstanding education at NGA.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work through these challenging times together.
We
look forward to a wonderfully blessed school year.
